Burritos in the Wild

  • 12 oz of Pork Sausage
  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 4 tortillas
  • 2 tablespoons of butter (affiliate)
  • ½ cup of cheddar cheese
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ⅛ tsp red pepper flakes
  • ⅛ tsp smoked paprika
  • Add-ons:
  • salsa (affiliate)
  • sour cream


  1. (directions can be used either on a stovetop or over an outdoor fire)
  2. Heat cast iron skillet and melt butter
  3. Add sausage and cook until barely pink
  4. Add diced onions, green pepper, and all spices. Saute with sausage until onions are translucent and peppers are cooked.
  5. Add beaten eggs and cheese, stir constantly to avoid mixture sticking to skillet.
  6. Take off of heat and scoop into tortilla, rolling like burrito.
  7. Add sour cream and salsa if desired**
  8. Chow!
