- 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 cups milk or whey
- 1/3 cup vegetable or coconut oil (affiliate)
Cinnamon Honey Butter
Instructions
- Whisk together dry ingredients in a large bowl.
- Add all wet ingredients and mix until combined, being careful not to over-mix.
- Heat and grease your waffle iron, then pour in 1/3-1/2 cup batter.
- Cook until brown and lightly crispy.
- Repeat for remaining batter.
- In the microwave or in a small saucepan, melt butter, honey, and ground cinnamon.
- Drizzle over top of waffles.
- *I also added a sprinkle of fresh granola to the top for crunch.
