Big Juicy Hamburgers

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs 80/20% Ground Chuck
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 big handful spinach, finely chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (your choice)
  • 1 tablespoon your favorite hamburger seasoning (I use Penzey’s Forward)
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 6 buns
  • *optional toppings: tomatoes, pickles, lettuce, ketchup (affiliate), mustard

Instructions

  1. In large bowl, add ground chuck, onion, spinach, cheese and seasonings. Mix with wooden spoon or hands until completely combined.
  2. Form into 6 large patties about 1 inch thick.
  3. Grill for 4-7 minutes over medium low heat on each side, depending on doneness preference.
  4. Toast buns on grill over low heat.
  5. Place patty on bun and serve with desired toppings.
