- 1/2 cup butter (affiliate)
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar (affiliate), packed
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsps vanilla (affiliate) extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chunks
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease 9 x 13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- In small skillet over medium high heat, melt butter, stirring constantly until butter foams and then starts to turn golden brown with dark flecks floating around. (Watch THIS VIDEO if you need more instruction).
- In stand mixer, combine brown sugar, granulated sugar, and browned butter until fully mixed.
- Add in vanilla and eggs, one at a time and mix until combined. Don’t forget to scrape down the sides!
- Add flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder, and mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Gently stir in chocolate chunks with a spoon and then spread dough into 9×13 pan.
- Bake for 20 minutes and let completely cool before cutting.
