Buttery Pumpkin Dump Cake is made with a box of yellow cake mix and topped with pecans. It’s literally the easiest dessert ever!
I can’t tell you how delicious this cake is. Or dessert. Whatever you want to call it. My mom started making a variation of this years ago and I jumped on the bandwagon last year for myself.
It’s also quite possibly the easiest dessert you could make for Thanksgiving or Christmas, and don’t we all need that? We need that one recipe that we can mix up in under 5 minutes and it’s ready to go in under an hour!
Do y’all have a pumpkin shortage wherever you live this year? I was hearing rumor of it so when I went to Costco last month and saw a 6 package of organic Green Valley pumpkin puree for a crazy cheap price, you better believe I snatched it up!
We’ve been having pumpkin pancakes, pumpkin peanut butter smoothies, pumpkin pasta, and now this ultra buttery pumpkin dump cake.
Ok, yes, this picture seems like there’s a lot of butter in this cake. I’m not gonna deny that. There’s a lot of butter in this cake. We’re not trying to win any healthy awards here with this one!
The awards we’re going for on this dessert are:
#1. The 8 ingredient dessert award
#2. The 5 minute prep time award
#3. The most delicious way to devour pumpkin award
Happy Thanksgiving Friends!
