Description

Buttery Pumpkin Dump Cake is made with a box of yellow cake mix and topped with pecans. It’s literally the easiest dessert ever!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 15oz can pumpkin puree
  • 1 10oz can evaporated milk
  • 1 cup light brown sugar (affiliate)
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) melted butter (affiliate)
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Spray a 9×13 inch baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, mix pumpkin, evaporated milk, sugar, eggs, and pumpkin pie spice until combined. Pour mixture into 9×13 pan.
  4. Evenly sprinkle the box of yellow cake mix over top of the pumpkin mixture, then sprinkle the chopped pecans over top.
  5. Finish by drizzling melted butter over top of all that.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes until center is set and edges are starting to brown.
  7. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
