Spicy Hoisin Pork Pizza. Homemade pizza dough with a soy peanut butter hoisin sauce, tender pulled pork, jalapeno slices, and mozzarella cheese then sprinkled with cilantro.

Hoisin Sauce

  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce (affiliate)
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter (affiliate)
  • 2 tablespoon rice vinegar (affiliate)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons hot sauce or sriracha (affiliate)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Toppings

  • 2 cups cooked pulled pork (check here for pork recipe)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 jalapenos, sliced
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Using pre-made pizza dough, grease large pizza pan or baking sheet and pat dough to corners.
  3. To make hoisin sauce, combine all ingredients but cornstarch in small saucepan. Bring to a boil then reduce to low and whisk in cornstarch. Stir until sauce starts to thicken.
  4. Spread sauce over top of pizza crust then top with pulled pork, jalapenos, then sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  5. Bake at 425 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven and top with cilantro.
  7. Serve!
