Pressure Cooker Cinnamon Maple Applesauce is made with just a few simple ingredients and is ready in less than 30 minutes! It’s the perfect stand alone stack or amazing cooked into muffins, pancakes, or waffles!
Pressure Cooker Cinnamon Maple Applesauce is here to stay!! We go through a somewhat hefty amount of applesauce in this family (thank you 4pk of giant glass jars from Costco) but sometimes I’m a little put off by the ultra puréed version and just need myself some good old homemade chunky goodness.
This recipe is basic with just a few added pops of flavor – thank you cinnamon, nutmeg, and maple syrup. If you wanna go simple, great! Just do apples, water, and lemon juice. Or, if you wanna go even crazier, be my guest! The only caveat is that you gotta share your creation with me.
Applesauce always seemed like one of those baby or little kid foods to me, but I gotta admit, once we started buying it, I’d feed little man his share and then pour myself a big old bowl afterward!
Yesterday, I made a plain greek yogurt, applesauce, peanut butter blended combo and it was surprisingly scrumptious. Last week, I made a mega batch of pancakes using the leftover applesauce from testing, and they were so moist and packed with flavor! The possibilities are endless with this applesauce. Enjoy!
